ABOUT

The Legacy Alliance’s wholly owned subsidiary and operating company, LSOC, is charged with the evaluation, ideation and execution of the prospects and turning them into successful portfolio companies.​ 

​Utilizing our proprietary processes that bring objectivity and uniformity to an otherwise varied process, the diligence and subsequent onboarding process is streamlined for maximum efficiency. This process is put in place to help our top two objectives:

 

1. To protect and preserve the capital of our investors.

 

2. Grow the portfolio companies so that they can reach double the revenue and double the multiple.

Prioritized on The Legacy Alliance portfolio, LSOC additionally evaluates and executes on behalf of Limited Partners in separate engagements.​

COMPANY

MISSION

The mission of LSOC is broken down into four (4) phases;

 

Evaluation

Identify possible portfolio companies for TLA and put them through our proprietary filter to establish the congruence with our key objectives.  The process is regimented but not rigid and is in place to guarantee objectivity.

 

Engagement

Full diligence, Binding LOI and Contract Negotiation and Closing are all part of the the Engagement phase. 

 

Execution

On-boarding, operations optimization, sales and marketing refinement, digital transformation and appropriate scaling of management and operations are the the macro KPI’s for the Execution phase.

 

Extraction

Once the business has been optimized and scaled appropriately, LSOC prioritizes and puts the business through another process to make the company ready for exit/sale.

There are a wealth of products in the marketplace that if used efficiently and universally across the entire platform, will be transforming to the business, allowing management to run the business instead of allowing the business to run them.

Microsoft Azure and Business Central, while relatively new, are rooted in thoughtful integrations, so that virtually all legacy systems of companies can be seamlessly transitioned and provide much more meaningful feedback in near real time.

COMMERCIALIZATION

As the vast majority of the companies that LSOC and TLA are acquiring are founder owned, sub-optimized businesses, often times peak commercialization has not been reached due to a number of factors.  Utilizing our shared services platform to optimize efficiencies, LSOC begins to concentrate on the production, distribution, marketing, sales and customer relations functions of the business, so that we can best capitalize from the other innovations we are implementing through a digital transformation and management renovation.

MANAGEMENT

Like any good business, the management of the company optimizes slowly over time. This process can be hindered by the lack of sufficient capital to hire the appropriate resources and put them in place. All too often, the founder is wearing too may hats and is concentrating less on the part of the business that made the company a success so far. Due to the unique shared services platform that TLA and LSOC have put in place, the companies can see immediate help in areas where they have been lacking.  As the companies grow and the revenues and time make it more viable, additional full-time management is added.  This allows the LSOC and the company time to find the best candidate for each position and efficiently utilize capital in the process.
